Healthy Eating Tips for Everybody

Do you give to feed my child? What you need to be well nourished? These are some questions that many parents have the time to take up the challenge of changing the feeding of children by adopting healthier habits that enable them to maintain an ideal weight.

It's quite difficult to change the diet of the overnight. This is a long process that undoubtedly involves major changes in the daily routine of adults and children.

But what do we mean by healthy eating? Basically for the balanced consumption of foods that provide essential nutrients (minerals, vitamins and proteins) for the proper functioning and healthy condition of the body. Such is the case of vegetables, fruits, dairy products, lean meats, whole grains and vegetable oils.

Unfortunately, the eating patterns of children show increasing consumption of other foods, those who transport empty calories or do not contribute to the health of the body and generally correspond to candy, cookies, candy, sugary drinks, invoices, and some fast food. Such foods should be consumed only occasionally, always favoring a system of healthier foods.

Guide for a healthy infant

According to the Guidelines for a Healthy Life, 2005, prepared by the Ministry of Health in our country, it recommends the following general guidelines for feeding children.

* Milk (milk) is important for child growth, so it is recommended to consume 3 times daily.
* The formula recommended 5 a day, ie at least 2 servings of fruit and 3 vegetables daily.
* Respect the set meal times (avoiding the "pecking").
* Give the child a good breakfast with milk, bread and fruit as possible, thus promoting their health and school performance.
* Prefer snacks with milk, yogurt or fruit.
* The development of the child to wash hands before eating and teeth after eating.
* Fish and vegetables are healthy foods that should be consumed at least 2 times a week.
