Computers are part of our lives and some of us spend our days in front of our computer screen without any idea of the damage we could be doing to our eyes by not taking regular breaks and allowing our eyes to focus on objects at various distances from us and not simply hold our focus on the screen about 18 inches from our noses. To do this is to go against our eyes natural instinct which is to be mobile, constantly moving around and taking in our surroundings.
It is important for our eye muscles that they are used daily and by not using them we are weakening them which will eventually cause us vision problems. Basically it is no problem using a computer all day every day as long as we remember to give our eyes a little work out every now and again throughout the day. There are several eye exercises we can use to do this and each one only takes about 3 minutes to perform so you are not being taken away from your work.
If you can blame your eye strain on computers and would like to learn some of the various eye exercises to ensure you do not damage your vision in the long term go to http://www.bettervision.info.
